Alumna Lama Khaiyat (MPP 2016) published the report "The future of work and education in Saudi Arabia in light of the G20 policy debate".
The report was published by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies and co-authored by Lama and Makio Yamada.
The “future of work and education” was one of the key items on the agenda of the G20, hosted by Japan this year and by Saudi Arabia in 2020. The T20 (Think20), an intellectual backbone of the G20, has been running a task force dedicated to this issue.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
