James Kin-sing Chan (MPP 2013) has co-authored a report on sexual harassment of university students in Hong Kong. Entitled Break the Silence: Territory-wide Study on Sexual Harassment of University Students in Hong Kong, the study is the largest of its kind in Hong Kong, with over 14,000 students responding to the survey.
James is currently working at the Equal Opportunities Commission, an independent public body with the responsibility for implementing anti-discrimination legislation in Hong Kong.

Carlos Santiago Guzmán Gutiérrez, an alumnus of the Master of Public Policy and the MSc in Public Policy Research, has received the inaugural Michael Cichon Graduate Award for outstanding master’s thesis in Social Protection. The award recognises his MSc thesis, “Universal Social Protection Schemes in Forced Displacement Settings: Evidence from Colombia.”
