Professor Joseph Nye and Fadi Chehadé will be in conversation on the topic of 'norms to promote stability and avoid conflict in cyberspace'.

Professor Joseph Nye is a Visiting Professor at the Blavatnik School of Government, a Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor and former Dean of the Harvard Kennedy School. He has served as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs, Chair of the National Intelligence Council, and Deputy Under Secretary of State for Security Assistance, Science and Technology. In 2004, he published Soft Power: The Means to Success in World Politics; Understanding International Conflict (5th edition); and The Power Game: A Washington Novel. In 2008 he published The Powers to Lead and his latest book published in 2011 is The Future of Power.
Fadi Chehadé is an information technology executive, founder of RosettaNet and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ICANN. He is currently a Partner, ABRY Partners LLC, and Senior Advisor to Professor Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum. Fadi serves on the corporate boards of Sentry Data Systems and Interactions LLC, and the advisory boards of the University of Southern California’s Center on Public Diplomacy, and the World Economic Forum’s Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
