I am a Rhodes Scholar from Silver Spring, Maryland. I recently completed my Master's in U.S. History at the University of Oxford, and am excited to begin work on my Master of Public Policy. This past year I served as the Deputy Campaign Manager and Chief of Staff on the Krish for Maryland primary campaign, and have worked in strategy, policy, communications, finance, and organising for political campaigns in Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia. I have been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, Teen Vogue, and various other publications, and have academic specialty in American racial justice movements, increasing civic engagement, and the role of juries in furthering American democracy. Though I've long been interested in politics and policy, I got my start in advocacy as a Black Lives Matter campus organiser in Charlottesville at the University of Virginia, where I received my B.A. in Politics with honours and African American and African Studies.
