Hailing from Australia, Harrison is interested in a wide range of policy issues, primarily the challenge of the decarbonisation and the social impacts that flow from a rapidly changing climate. With the support of the Rhodes Scholarship he has already completed the Bachelor of Civil Law (Distinction) and was awarded the Ralph Chiles Prize for Comparative Human Rights. This follows undergraduate law and international relations studies in Melbourne where his honours thesis focused on the Victorian Climate Change Act.
Harrison has practised as a solicitor at an international law firm and volunteered at public interest law firms focusing on LGBTIQ+ rights and environmental justice. His aim in studying the MPP is to develop his skills and understanding of policy analysis, develop a grounding in economics, and broaden his engagement with academic literature into new fields.
