Owen Scott is interested in policies that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and public value of pension schemes and sovereign wealth funds.

Owen also has an interest in improving mental health, and serves as Chair and Non Executive Director of the Satellite Foundation.

Owen's career to date has included a broad cross-section of the financial services industry, with a sustained focus on pension funds, institutional investing, and essential service infrastructure.

Prior to joining Oxford, he was Associate Director at Australia's largest pension fund, AustralianSuper. There he played a key role in helping to shape the fund's strategy for investment in infrastructure, commercial real estate, and sub-investment grade debt. 

Owen holds a first-class honours degree in Finance from the University of Melbourne and wrote his thesis on value destructive decision-making by savers within Australia's defined contribution pension system.
