I am a recent graduate of Harvard College, where I studied government with a minor in educational studies. In 2019, I served as our Student Body President. During my tenure, I championed the causes of traditionally underrepresented groups and strengthened campus services by launching a university-wide online mental health screening system, establishing a mentorship programme to foster meaningful relationships between first-generation students and faculty, creating a USD 22,000 public service job interview grant, and more. I have a deep passion for children's issues and spent my college summers interning at UNICEF and Save the Children. As a long-time avid consumer of news, I also ventured into the dynamic world of political journalism and served as a Political Fellow at ABC News and, most recently, as an intern with CNN. In the future, I am highly interested in connecting my interests across politics, policy and journalism, and hope to create a more well-informed and engaged society.
