biography

Daniel Hernández Galindo has been a public servant since he was 19, convinced that there is always a better way to make things happen.

At 16 years of age Daniel, a Mexican national, studied Political Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico with the sole ambition of building a fairer country where anyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, background, preference or skin colour, can have the same opportunities.

Daniel spent over four years designing health policies at the federal level, and then another three prospecting the project for the new airport of Mexico City.

As Director General of the Energy Agency of the State of Hidalgo, Mexico, Daniel spent the last six years dedicated to the design and implementation of public policies to promote economic development from a local level, putting into practice two of his passions: energy and competitiveness.

Daniel has always had the support of his family and thanks to them, he is the first member of the family to study overseas.
