biography

Danielle is a lawyer and a government official in the Philippines. She has served in the Philippine Department of Finance for the past 13 years in various capacities, and currently holds the position of Assistant Secretary. She most recently managed both the Legal Services Group and the Policy Development and Management Services Group of the agency, working on matters related to fiscal policy, public administration, public procurement, privatisation, and energy policy. She has extensive experience in the legal review of various government transactions, legislation, executive issuances, and regulations. 

For the past six years Danielle also served as alternate chairman of the board to government-owned corporations: one in charge of privatisation of government energy assets and liquidation of legacy debts and contract costs, and one mandated with the electrification of the remote areas and islands in the Philippines. Her key policy interests include energy transition and security, taxation, and public-private partnerships.
