Durga Ravindran Colanukuduru is from Hyderabad, India, where she spent most of her formative years wondering how to make things better.
Ten years on and Durga is advising her home State Government on women and child welfare policies. Over the last three years, Durga has worked to increase the impact of policies on women's entrepreneurship, school education, and maternal and child nutrition.
As a business administration graduate with a passion for social impact, Durga is curious to learn how to create large-scale change through efficient systems. Her goal is to advocate for interdisciplinary policies to improve gender outcomes in India. She is also keen to learn about innovative financing models for development projects.
At the Blavatnik School of Government, Durga is looking forward to learning how to shape human-centric public policies. Her other interests are yoga, reading and music. Durga is a Chevening/HSBC Scholar.
