biography

Eric is a recent graduate of law from the University of Galway. He served on the Board of Directors for the NGO Women for Election and as the Director of Advocacy for the community organisation, Black and Irish. He writes regularly on pressing sociopolitical issues for his blog and has contributed to both legal and socially oriented outlets and written for national newspaper outlets. Eric has a YouTube channel and podcast where he covers content ranging from political commentary, to artistic ventures, to public interviews on contentious, thought-provoking, political topics. Eric worked as a paralegal for the commercial law firm, A&L Goodbody.

Eric's key policy interest is in the area of managing the newfound cultural heterogeneity that has met Ireland and the broader West, and thinking about ways to sow cohesion and symbiosis in the face of this. This encompasses issues surrounding migration and the populist backlash to it.

Eric is a George Moore scholar.
