James is from Toronto, Canada, and has a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master's in Political Management from Carleton University in Ottawa. Over the past four years, James has worked as a Political Advisor, Parliamentary Assistant, Legislative Advisor, and Issues Manager to various elected officials and cabinet ministers. Recently, he transitioned into the private sector and works as a Government Relations Consultant for Canada's most sought-after public affairs advisory groups, housed within a national corporate law firm. James has become a generalist in his current role, lobbying on issues ranging from digital government implementation to procurement.

James looks forward to continuing to explore how government and policy intersect with digital solutions and emerging technology. He is also looking forward to continuing to explore the nexus between government, policy, and private-sector business.
