biography

Born and raised in China, I achieved my bachelor’s degrees in law and economics. Prior to joining the Blavatnik School, I was an auditor specializing in petroleum and the pharmaceutical industry. While at university, as the president of Student Union, I co-founded a waste recycling project. With the funds raised by collecting and selling used plastic, we donated education and sports facilities for children in underdeveloped remote regions. Building on cross-sectoral experiences in finance analysis at UBS and KPMG, operation consulting for non-profit organizations, and art teaching in poverty-stricken villages, I wish to develop interdisciplinary insights at the Blavatnik School on how to integrate business strategy, public policy, and sustainability into real transformation of social challenges. Particularly, my key policy interest lies in civic participation under public private partnership models as well as the dynamics in domestic non-profit organizations. Besides that, I am also a serious amateur painter and stage performer.
