John is joining the Blavatnik School of Government after previous internships at the United Nations Secretariat in Geneva, the United Nations Development Programme, and Singapore's Prime Minister's Office. 

In these roles, John supported governments in leveraging and scaling frontier technologies including AI, IoT, blockchain and big data for sustainable urban development. 

John's policy interests include climate resilience and pathways to deep decarbonisation, the ethical and humane use of technology, and digital public goods. He completed his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, where he graduated magna cum laude with the highest honours in Government.
