Martina is a co-founder and a leader of an educational Slovak non-profit organisation that works to enhance the level of critical thinking and resilience to disinformation in her home country of Slovakia. The organisation works with every fourth Slovak high school teacher and its educational content is followed by more than 70,000 young people on social media.

Martina was born at a time when Slovakia's democracy was less than five years old, and she has observed its fragility and evolution throughout her life. Her background in media and journalism has made her particularly attentive to the issues around propaganda and its effects on democratic processes and the people's trust in media, institutions and the country itself. Martina engages in activities across three sectors—education, media, and public administration—trying to find the best possible ways to contribute effectively to her country's development.
