Merav is an Israeli lawyer focused on the intersection of law and welfare, with a particular interest in the social implications of legal and economic policies on disadvantaged populations.

After graduating with honours from the joint degree program in law and social work at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Merav began her career in the Israeli civil service. In her current role, she is responsible for leading the design of legal policy in the field of debt enforcement within the Ministry of Justice. This includes promoting legislation in the Israeli Government and Parliament, as well as providing legal consultation to government ministries on complex issues. After the MPP, Merav's objective is to advance a long-term governmental plan to empower impoverished communities and increase access to legal and economic rights.

Merav lives in Israel with her husband, Ofir, and their three daughters: Geffen, Shaked and Ella.
