biography

Sandra is from Ghana and serves as the gender equality, inclusivity and fashion consultant with the United Nations Population Fund. She leverages fashion as a tool to promote the socio-economic wellbeing of marginalised young women in Ghana and Kenya, designing capacity-building programmes and leading the UNFPA-Prada Group joint flagship initiative, 'Fashion Expressions; The Stories She Wears'.

Sandra is a Mandela Washington Fellow 2023, a fashion designer and a vocational skill advocate passionate about TVET-Technical, Vocational Education and Training. She holds a BA in public management from the University of Professional Studies, Ghana. Her policy interests are in educational policy and human capital development to ensure TVET is fully leveraged on as a major contributor to Africa's sustainable growth.
