Tara was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in Business Economics and Social Studies specialising in business and political science. She spent the past three years working as a Project Manager within the Portfolio and Programme Management team at PwC Ireland, gaining extensive experience delivering a wide range of complex national transformation programmes across the Government and Healthcare sectors. Previously Tara played a leading role in developing communications strategies for three electoral campaigns in Ireland - Local Government Dáil (Parliament) and Seanad (Senate).

Tara is pursuing the MPP to learn how to develop innovative and impact-focused policies that will improve public services in Ireland. Her goal is to become a policymaker and politician who advances a proactive and efficient public service that serves the needs of the Irish public.

Tara is a Policital Leadership scholar.
