biography

Anindita is an economist at the Central Bank of Indonesia, specialising in macroprudential policymaking, public policy communication, and regional economic development. Previously she worked at a private bank, which offered her an insight into economic policy from both the authority's and market players' perspectives.

Anindita's recent responsibilities include analysing the financial system condition and forming macroprudential policy recommendations, as well as writing press releases, reports to the parliament, and Financial Stability Reports for the public. She also conducts policy evaluation discussions and delivers public policy communication. Anindita graduated from IPB University with a major in economics and minor in communications. Her current study interest is economic policy, especially green economy. She intends to develop policies to promote green transition, given that Indonesia is prone to being exposed to the impacts of climate change and at the same time has great potential as a source of renewable energy.
