Anna Volynets holds a master's degree in Economics and has 11 years of professional experience with McKinsey & Company, where she focused on economic policy research, analysis and recommendations. 

Anna led more than ten projects with state agencies in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). For example, she designed the economic component of the 2050 Socio-Economic Strategy of a CIS country with a focus on industrial ecosystems, productivity improvement and labour mobility; she led strategy development for the Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Agency resulting in a three-fold net growth in their PPP portfolio; she led a VAT policy update for a Ministry of Economy resulting in a 16% VAT revenue increase without VAT rate growth.

Anna's current policy interests centre on improving fundamental multidisciplinary factors that drive long-term individual labour productivity to overcome increasing poverty and income inequality.

Anna is originally from Russia and has lived in Georgia since March 2022.
