Emily Ang is on study leave from her work in the Housing & Development Board in Singapore.

As a Deputy Director, Emily oversees the planning for the renewal of Singapore's public housing. 

Emily's key interests lie are in social policy and the politics of policy-making and, through the Master of Public Policy, she hopes to have a better understanding of different aspects of public policy, which will be invaluable in her work as a public servant. 

Emily majored in Life Sciences as an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, where she also holds a Master of Science.  

Emily is a Singaporean public sector scholar.
