James is the Summer Project and Career Development Coordinator, working closely with the Head of Careers and Professional Development to support students in their MPP Summer Project.

Previously, James was Senior Assistant Director of Employer Relations at the University of Chicago’s undergraduate career centre where he developed and managed employer partnerships for student exploring careers in government, policy, and non-profit organisations. Most recently, he worked in state government managing regional administration of workforce development and unemployment insurance programmes for the state of Iowa. James also worked in the non-profit sector at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, where he helped homeless military veterans find and maintain employment.

James holds an MS in Higher Education Administration and Policy from Northwestern University and a BS in Psychology from Illinois State University.
