biography

I am a venture capital investor working for the Italian government's venture capital fund, where I look for innovative Italian start-ups to help them scale globally and attract international investors.

I left Italy when I was 17 and was selected to represent my country at the United World College in Canada. I later earned a BA in economics and political science from Brown University, where I developed a strong interest in international political economy and received highest honours for my thesis on neoliberalism in Italy.

Before returning to Italy, I worked in the private sector in Boston and London, first in management consulting and later in private equity at Fidelity Investments and Eight Roads.

At the Blavatnik School, I want to combine my academic background with my practitioner experience to investigate the policies governments can implement to support innovation, with the goal of bringing back this expertise to Italian and EU-level policymaking.
